  1. A backlog of 16,000 immigration cases has been discovered by the Independent Chief Inspector for Borders and Immigration. Including 2000 cases that were filed in boxes whilst the applicants waited up to ten years for decision.
  2. Two men, who are allegedly linked to a White Chapel ‘Muslim Patrol’ have been arrested after subjecting a man to homophobic abuse, the attack was filmed and uploaded to youtube.
  3. David Cameron finally made his long awaited speech on Britain and the EU, by coincidence it fell on the same day that 50 years ago Jean Monnet made a speech arguing that Britain should join the EU. Read some of the reactions to Cameron’s speech.
