“50% of Londoners start life somewhere else”

The Migrant Resource Centre has launched a campaign to encourage Londoners to ‘help a new Londoner’, by donating to the charity and ‘buddying’ up with a new migrant.

Last week they published a section in the centre of The Metro, telling the stories of some new Londoners they had helped, along with information about the reality of London’s demographic in terms of immigration and the economy. They busted myths about migrants in the UK it was great to see the stories of real London Migrants in the mainstream press.

Roy Greenslade, Media commentator at the Guardian and journalist of 40 years can tell you more about the advertisement and the collaboration between parts of the press and The Migrant Resource Centre and the EU, to name a few.
